Wow

I wasn't going to go to this show because Queensryche's set opening for Judas Priest a year ago was not very good. I decided that this was mainly the fault of the sound issues that night in the cavernous Fox Theater in Oakland. The performance and sound inside Ace of Spades on the Digital Noise Alliance tour was much better. This has renewed my love for Queensryche. A rare appearance by metal guitar virtuoso Marty Friedman was truly an ear and eye opener. His band of young players was locked in and full of youthful energy. Bay Area thrash vets Trauma started the night off with a bang on what turned out to be a fantastic night of hard rock with three excellent acts, each with their own totally different style. This was a great show
